School Year 2023-2024
Dear P4K Students and Families,
Welcome Back! It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction. I am Ashley Hodge, the new Interim Acting Principal of P4K. I am truly humbled to have this opportunity to lead the dedicated staff and families of P4K by supporting a school community in providing learning experiences that will benefit our students.
I am a graduate of the New York City Public School System, and am so grateful that I can give back the light that was given to me as a student. I have been dedicated to the field of education for 16 years. This year will mark my 9th year in instructional leadership. Prior to becoming the Interim Acting Principal of P4K, I served as an Assistant Principal at P94M, a District 75 program. Before becoming an administrator, I was a classroom teacher and district coach.
My goal as Interim Acting Principal is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that:
- keeps all of our students and staff safe every day,
- provides a high-quality educational environment that promotes academic, social and emotional growth,
- explores ways to meet the needs of all students by expanding educational offerings and arts partnerships ,
- effectively communicates with all parents and community members.
Through a close partnership with staff members and parents at P4K, I am confident that our school will continue being a place where our students learn and grow academically and socially. We will be planning a variety of events and amazing opportunities for students and families throughout the year. Please feel free to stop by and become an active part of the P4K team and family.
