School Year 2025-2026

Dear P4K Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope your summer was filled with rest, joy, and special moments with your loved ones. As we open our doors for another year of learning and growth, I am excited to continue building on the momentum and progress we achieved together last year.

At P4K, our vision remains clear: to cultivate a safe, welcoming, and nurturing community that values respect, inclusivity, and the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of our families. Our commitment is to help all students build strong literacy foundations, achieve their IEP goals, and grow as independent learners who are prepared for the future.

We are also thrilled to keep expanding our PBIS “Be a SPORT” framework (Safety, Problem-Solving, On-Task, Respect, Teamwork). Together, we will continue to celebrate positive choices, encourage collaboration, and create joyful spaces where students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Attendance Matters

Consistent attendance is one of the most important factors in your child’s success. We ask all families to prioritize daily, on-time attendance so that students are fully engaged in their learning and don’t miss valuable instructional time. Our school day runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Monday through Friday. Together, we can ensure that every child builds strong routines and habits that will support them for years to come.

Just as importantly, we know that family partnerships are the heart of our success. We look forward to connecting with you through Literacy Week, Family Read-Alouds, Principal Talk! sessions, parent workshops, and other site-based events that bring us together. Your voice, your presence, and your partnership make our community strong.

Uniforms

We have a limited number of school uniform items in stock. The cost of T-shirts (long sleeves and short sleeves) and gym shorts is $5.00 per item. Hoodies will be $10. Sweatpants will also be $10 (only available in Youth XL). Look out for the order form in your child’s backpack.

As we begin this new school year, let’s continue to aim high and work hand in hand to make sure every child is seen, supported, and celebrated. Thank you for entrusting us with your children —we are honored to learn and grow with them each day.

With appreciation and excitement,

Ashley Smith
